lindsay-lohan-chateau-marmont-gi.jpgAnother day, another Lohan family drama. And this one shows no sign of blowing over soon. After Lindsay Lohan and mom Dina Lohan bashed Lindsay’s dad Michael Lohan’s attempt at an “intervention” in the media, the patriarch is fighting back the same way.

TMZ is reporting they have emails and text messages sent between Michael Lohan and Lindsay’s manager Evan Hainey, entertainment lawyer Dave Feldman and criminal defense lawyer Shawn Holley which support Michael’s plans for an intervention. Michael first shared his concern on Sept. 23 via an email regarding Lindsay’s alleged drinking and drug abuse. He then worked with Lindsay’s team to make arrangements for the intervention throughout the first few weeks of October.

If true, it would contradict Dina Lohan’s dramatic statement from yesterday claiming: “This sole act by my ex was not an intervention, nor was this extreme antic sanctioned by any member of Lindsay’s family or her professional team of handlers.”

Although Lindsay appeared to be getting her career back on track with starring roles in the Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick” and indie “The Canyons,” she reportedly skipped out on ADR sessions for “Canyons” on Oct. 18, sparking an angry tweet from screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis.

Michael’s intervention came a day later, and now Lindsay is supposedly looking into getting an “order of protection” to legally require her father to stay away.

Meanwhile, Lindsay’s younger sister and brothers have all released statements published by Extra bashing their dad:

“Take this as your other daughter’s plea to an absent father,” says Ali Lohan. “I have always tried to stay out of the press because it hurts me to see how you malign my mother. But in this instance, I am breaking my silence. Please stop waging your own personal war against my family. We don’t need you to intervene because we can take care of ourselves without you, as we have been all these years.”

“I think it’s unfortunate that the public had to be unwittingly invited into the lives of my family members due to my father’s lies,” says Michael Lohan Jr. “That being said, I think everyone can understand and see why my sisters, brother, mother and I do not associate with him anymore.”

“I have no good memories of my so called father,” adds youngest child Dakota “Cody” Lohan. “He has never been part of my life, and needs to leave my family alone!”

We haven’t seen this much family dysfunction since Season 1 of “American Horror Story.”
