Well, it feels like it’s been longer, “Lost” fans, but it’s only been two weeks since “LaFleur” went and blew the majority of our minds. Next up? “Namaste,” an episode title that hasn’t had me this excited since…well, “The Life and Times of Jeremy Bentham.” So, needless to say, I’m not letting the title get me overexcited. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, well, call me John Locke.

As per usual, no spoilers here, though I thought I’d leave the following promo clip below for those of you who need to savor every second of footage you can. I got the embed code from the powers that be here at Zap2it, though I haven’t myself actually watched it. For all I know, it could be three minutes of Elizabeth Mitchell sucker punching kittens. Like I said, I haven’t looked at it, but that doesn’t mean you can’t. With all major parties back on the Island, I am looking forward to seeing how the two time periods intersect and reflect off one another.

If you’d rather take a little bit to remind yourself where we’re at, make sure you hit up the We Have to Go back gallery, fully updated through the last episode. After tomorrow night, we’ll be more than halfway through the season. I know. Insert single tear here.

And, in case you missed it, be sure to check out “South by South Pacific,” the epic “Lost” musical concocted by myself and my wife, Diana. Originally, I promised five acts, but somehow it doesn’t feel right to present a pop song parody of only half a season. So, we’re going to sit on what we’ve done and unleash it, fully completed, at season’s end. In the meantime, click on any of the following links to jump to a specific act.

  1. Act 1
  2. Act 2
  3. Act 3
  4. Act 4

Be sure to vote on your favorite act of “Pacific” below. In addition, I’m curious as to which Dharma Initiative-era character you’re most curious about learning more about. So answer both polls, check out some links, and be sure to check out It Happened Last Night to read my recap after the episode airs!

What DI-era character do you most want to learn more about in the second half of Season 5?
