macgruber trailer 'MacGruber' trailer: An upper decker? Maybe not.The trailer for 2010 release “MacGruber” has hit the internet. Does the newest “Saturday Night Live” spin-off movie look any good?

We have to confess, the “MacGruber” sketch on “SNL?” Hit and miss. We liked Charles Barkley as the new “black friend” but most of the time it just gets old.

“SNL” sketch spin-off movies? Hit and miss as well. For every “Wayne’s World” there are several “Night at the Roxburys” or “Superstars.”

But the “MacGruber” may be one of the hits. It reminds us of spy-spoof movies like “Naked Gun” and “Top Secret” and the trailer actually made us laugh out loud several times.

That being said, it could easily be the case of “all the funny parts are in the trailer.” We hate it when that happens. But we’d like to believe that between Will Forte, Kristen Wiig and Ryan Phillippe as the good guys and poofy Val Kilmer as bad guy Dieter Von Cunth, this one might actually be a fun comedy.

“MacGruber” hits theaters April 23, 2010.

What do you guys think? Worth a trip to the theaters?
