Jon Hamm braves the cold at the 'Mad Men' sculpture reveal in New York City in March 2015

Jon Hamm may have more in common with his “Mad Men” alter ego Don Draper than fans knew.
TMZ reports that the actor has completed a 30-day rehab program for alcohol addiction. According to the report, Hamm checked into Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Conn., at the end of February.
“With the support of his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction. They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward,” reads a statement from Hamm’s publicity team.
The news that Hamm has completed a rehab program comes as a bit of a shock since there were no reports when he entered the program. Hamm has been busy in recent days doing press for the final season of “Mad Men,” including an appearance on “Today” and attending the unveiling of a commemorative sculpture in front of Time & Life building in New York City.
“Mad Men’s” final season premieres April 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.
