“Top Chef Masters” returns for Season 3 and guess who’s pulling up a chair on the finale episode? “Mad Men’s” Christina Hendricks and her husband, “Body of Proof’s” Geoffrey Arend, will be appearing in the “Mad Men-themed” finale! HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire” has found the future of organized crime in “Rescue Me’s” Michael Zegan. Zegan plays Benjamin Siegel aka “Benny” who will later be known as “Bugsy.” [TVLine]
Marlee Matlin is jumping from “Celebrity Apprentice” to ABC Family guest star in their upcoming pilot series, “Switched at Birth.” The series follows two girls who find each other after being switched at birth and Matlin will play mother to one of their school friends, deaf actor Sean Berdy. [THR]
We’re used to seeing reality shows set at real magazines, but what about scripted shows? In a very interesting deal, “Hot in Cleveland” and Woman’s Day have joined up on-screen for Season 3. Valerie Bertinelli’s character, Melanie Moretti, becomes a columnist for the magazine. [TVLand]
Writer/Producer Greg Berlanti who’s behind ABC favorites like “Brothers & Sisters” and “No Ordinary Family” is leaving ABC Studios for a 4-year eight-figure development deal at Warner Bros. Television. We’re pretty excited to see what he cooks up over at WB. [Deadline]
“Law & Order: SVU” fans will be happy to hear that the longest-lasting ADA is returning for a guest appearance. Diane Neal will reprise her role as Casey Novak this spring for one episode. [TVLine]
