Mark Wahlberg wants to make one thing very clear. Just because he and his family are coming to reality TV with the upcoming A&E series “Wahlburgers” doesn’t mean the show will bear any resemblance to that other reality show with the famous siblings. (Hint: Their names all stars with “K.”)
“No, no. It’s very different. It’s very different. Nothing against them. They’ve been hugely successful,” Wahlberg tells the AP about “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” “It’s just about building a family business. Uh, it’s just very different, very different.”
“Wahlburgers,” which A&E announced on Tuesday (Nov. 12) will premiere Jan. 22, chronicles Wahlberg and his brothers Donnie and Paul, mother Alma and assorted friends and family members as they run their namesake burger restaurant in Boston.
