meghan mccain raising mccain gi Meghan McCain's 'Raising McCain' is 'Meet the Press' meets 'Jackass'

Keeps your eyes peeled for a new talk show making it’s way to the TV. Meghan McCain, daughter of former presidential hopeful John McCain, is getting her own series. “Raising McCain” will air on the brand new Pivot network, which will also be home to Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s “Hit RECord on TV.”
McCain revealed the show through a series of tweets. In one message, she described it as “‘Meet the Press’ meets ‘Jackass,'” and says it will follow her on the road as she interviews various people. During the Pivot network upfront presentation, “Raising McCain” was described as a “docu-talk” series, featuring McCain chatting with experts, regular people, and members of her generation. Ten episodes of the half hour show have been ordered.
Pivot is a new network from Participant Media that will launch August 1. It will take the place of the Documentary Channel and Halogen TV on cable providers, putting it in over 40 million homes. More than 300 hours of original programming are scheduled for the network’s first year, including “TakePart Live,” a  talk show formed by viewer suggestions, and “Will,” a one-hour scripted series about a young William Shakespeare.

You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
