“Two and a Half Men” star Melanie Lynskey stops by “The Jeff Probst Show” Friday, Oct 12 to talk about Hollywood’s unreasonable standards of beauty and her on-going friendship with former co-star Charlie Sheen.
On Hollywood’s unrealistic standards:
“It just got to a point where it was unmanageable. I was trying so hard to fit myself into a particular little box and I wasn’t happy. I wasn’t happy with my body. I was working all the time and I was going to lovely restaurants and I was eating a little sad salad with no dressing on it and trying to be skinny and at a certain point I was like, gosh it’s just not how my body is. It’s not who I am. I can’t try and fit myself into this box that so many people are already in.”
On Charlie Sheen:
“He’s a dear friend of mine, somebody I love and care about and I think for all of us, it was just caring that he was OK and taking care of himself.”
