Michael J. Fox‘s 23-year-old son, Sam Fox, is a pretty eligible bachelor these days — he was Mr. Golden Globe at Sunday’s ceremony, and he’s chosen a career path that’ll help make the world a better place. (Sam works for Farmers Web, a startup platform that helps small farms sell goods to wholesale buyers, like restaurants.)
At the Globes, after Tina Fey and Amy Poehler lost their award category to Lena Dunham, they “got drunk” and started telling it like it is. One thing they announced to Hollywood’s elite? “Taylor Swift, stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son!” Fey slurred, to the collective LOL-s of the crowd.
Turns out, papa Fox agrees with Fey. Vulture caught Michael at a book signing this week, and he admitted that while he doesn’t know a whole lot about Taylor Swift, he wouldn’t want her hooking up with his kid.
“No. No … Just back off,” he says. “I don’t keep up with it all, but Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with,
right? What a way to build a career.”
So if Sam brought Taylor home to Sunday dinner at the Fox house? “I wouldn’t even know who she was,” Michael admits — but he says he’d probably put it all together once he heard Taylor’s hypothetical song on the radio. “Exactly. ‘Sam, you piece of s***’ — oh, that was the girl you brought home?”
Luckily, it appears Swift has no designs on Sam. She didn’t even stay at the Globes very long after she lost her category to Adele, preferring instead to go home and hang out with her cat.
