paris prince jackson gi Michael Jackson's children Prince, Paris eye careers in show businessThe late Michael Jackson worked tirelessly to shield his children from the public eye, and just two years after his death “Good Morning America” caught up with the kids and their grandmother, Katherine Jackson.

Prince Michael, 14, Paris, 12, and Blanket, 9, are all currently enrolled in school after years of home-schooling and are adjusting to life without their father. For never seeing much of these kids before their heart wrenching appearance at MJ’s funeral, we’re surprised — in a good way — at how normal they seem.

We are unsurprised, however, that the young Jacksons have been bitten by the show business bug.

Prince tells “GMA’s” Robin Roberts that he hopes to produce movies. A passion that his father nurtured from a young age.

“I’m looking at a couple of opportunities in show business,” he says. “Most producing.”

Katherine adds, “That’s what his father wanted to do and he was doing it right along with him.”

“We had a teacher from UCLA come to our house and we would do film classes there,” Prince recalls.

As for Paris, she’s eyeing a career in front of the camera.

“I’m thinking about auditioning for a play next week,” she explains. Adding that she’d like to pursue acting.

Blanket doesn’t pipe up much, but Katherine mentions that he and Paris often play dress up and act in their brother’s movie projects.

They’re still typical kids though, we found it endearingly normal to hear that their favorite school subjects or “Gym and lunch.” Paris also refers to Prince as “a beast” on the basketball court.

We imagine these kids could have a career in Hollywood without a problem, but after the lengths their father went through to protect their identities we’re not totally convinced he would have been on-board.
