Michael-Jackson.jpgMichael Jackson’s entire back catalog was stolen by hackers after Sony music was attacked by hackers. The is the second security breach in the span of a year at the site. They allegedly nabbed over 50,000 music files. The cost? $253 million, according to Fox News.

Sony recently paid $395 million for Jackson’s songs, with the rights to hold them for seven years. They planned to release 10 albums, including some of the studio sessions Jackson had during the recording of his albums and duets with artists like Freddie Mercury and Will.i.am.

Two people were taken into custody but have been released on bail. In April, 2011, information from 77 million gamers were lifted from Sony when the PlayStation Network was hacked. This breach reportedly happened shortly after that one, but the information was not made public until now.
