prince michael jackson paris wrongful death trial Michael Jackson's son Prince to testify on 4th anniversary of father's death in wrongful death trialThe Michael Jackson wrongful death trial is currently on going in the Los Angeles area, as Jackson’s three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, and their grandmother Katherine are suing AEG Live for the alleged negligent hiring, retaining and supervising Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson’s death.

After an expert medical witness concludes his testimony on Tuesday (June 25), Prince, now 16, is going to testify about his father’s final days, reports the AP. June 25 is the fourth anniversary of Jackson’s death.

The medical expert who is finishing up his testimony first is Dr. Gordon Matheson, director of sports medicine at Stanford University. He maintains that Dr. Murray’s contract to work as Michael Jackson’s personal doctor for $150,000/month was “likely to lead to poor medical decisions” since Murray’s contract was with AEG Live, the company behind Jackson’s planned comeback tour.

Matheson maintains that Murray would have felt pressure from AEG Live to keep Jackson on schedule and rehearsing despite evidence of Jackson being ill.

When Matheson’s testimony concludes, Prince will take the stand — the only one of Michael’s three children to appear in court. Paris, in the wake of her suicide attempt and subsequent hospitalization, gave a video deposition but will not appear in person.

Prince’s testimony is expected to include what his father told him in his final weeks about whom he trusted and did not trust.

The trial is expected to last through August.
