miley cyrus we cant stop drug references Miley Cyrus admits her song 'We Can't Stop' references drugs

Thanks to some clarification from Miley Cyrus, the debates can finally end. Yes, she does reference drugs in her new single, “We Can’t Stop.” And she doesn’t care if you don’t approve.

In a recent interview with The Daily Mail, the pop star revealed that — though the song’s producer first claimed the much-debated lyric was “dancing with Miley,” not “dancing with Molly” (a slang term for the club drug MDMA) — the former Disney starlet is in fact singing about rolling.

“It depends who’s doing what. If you’re aged ten [the lyric is] Miley, if you know what I’m talking about then you know,” the 20-year-old said. “I just wanted it to be played on the radio and they’ve already had to edit it so much. I don’t think people have a hard time understanding that I’ve grown up. You can Google me and you know what I’m up to — you know what that lyric is saying.”

Cyrus also spoke out about how frustrated she gets when people say her video is too racy and provocative. “I just think the world is so lame because you can shoot people in a movie and you can let people like [George] Zimmerman off on trial but you can’t have someone going like this [simulates oral sex]? That is so dumb to me,” Cyrus said. “The world is such a f***ed up place the last thing people need to worry about is my cute little video for ‘We Can’t Stop,’ you know what I mean?”
