Mindy McCready‘s family has announced that the late country singer’s funeral is open to the public. In an attempt to let fans say goodbye to the 37-year-old, all are welcome at the Baptist church in Ft. Myers, Fla. where the service is being held.
“Mindy’s life was public and the family welcomes friends and fans to join them in a celebration of Mindy’s life,” McCready’s mother, Gayle Inge, says in a statement.
The funeral, held on Feb. 26, is the official service for the McCready family. There is also a memorial service being held in Nashville that will also be open to the public. The pallbearers at the Florida ceremony include McCready’s three brothers Timothy McCready, Jr., Joshua McCready and Colton Skylar Phelan. McCready is survived by her sons Zander and Zayne.
