anna faris mom stripping roles over 'Mom' star Anna Faris is glad she no longer has to strip for roles

Anna Faris is grateful to finally have found a role where she can keep her clothes on.

The “Mom” star recently admitted that most of the scripts she was sent in her early career called for some kind of nudity, and is glad that she no longer has to strip for roles. “The roles are getting better,” Farris told the Metro newspaper. “I’m grateful I don’t have to be chasing a guy in my underwear. In my 20s, it felt like there was a point in every script where it said, ‘As she slowly unbuttons her blouse.'”

Faris also admitted that she was “competitive” and “insecure” in the beginning of her career in Hollywood, but becoming a mother in real life — to 14-month-old son Jack with “Parks and Recreation” star Chris Pratt — made her see the big picture and focus less on the small things.

“I feel like I was in a panic in my 20s,” Faris says. “I was competitive and insecure and I took rejection harder. Having a baby makes your priorities shift. I’m feeling very fortunate and happy.”

“Mom” airs Mondays at 9:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
