Octomom Nadya Suleman regrets having in vitro fertilization, she says in an interview with NBC’s “Dateline.” Suleman has been making headlines again lately for posing nude for British magazine Closer and admitting that she’s on public assistance.
“Looking back, was it a mistake to go back and have IVF after having six children already?” asks interviewer Tamron Hall.
“Yes,” says Suleman. “Absolutely. Was I was in my lucid state of mind? I don’t know at that point. I could rationalize myself away and I’m good at rationalizing.”
Suleman already had six children when she underwent the in vitro fertilization that resulted in the birth of octuplets. The mother of 13 says she’s been getting death threats since going back on welfare after having trouble paying her bills.
