natina reed kurupt getty Natina Reed mourned by 'Bring It On' co stars and rapper KuruptActress/R&B singer Natina Reed was killed over the weekend, dying shortly after being struck by a car outside of Atlanta, Ga. The remembrances have poured out from her co-stars and fellow singers.

Reed was a member of the ’90s girl group Blaque alongside Brandi Williams and Shamari Fears. Brandi tweets of Reed’s passing, “Last night the world was changed forever, life will never be the same….she was my sister.”

Williams and Fears also released a joint statement about Natina, revealing Blaque was in the process of working on a new album and reality show.

Reed’s “Bring It On” co-stars were also saddened by the news.

Gabrielle Union also tweets her condolences, “#RIP #Sad #BringItOn RT @GlobalGrind: #RIP to Natina Reed of Blaque…”

Eliza Dushku writes, “Natina Reed, such a beautiful young talented woman, my Bring it On sis, so sad to hear.. #tragic.”

Clare Kramer tweets, “Our friend Natina Reed, a life lost too soon, such talent & charismatic fun. All from #BringItOn thinking of you & your family.”

And finally, rapper Kurupt, whom Natina had been with since 2000 and who is the father of her 10-year-old son Tren, released a statement to MTV: “Myself and Tren, Natina’s son, would like to thank everyone
for their love and support during this tragic time. This is a
tremendous loss to our family. Natina was a great person and I wish
everyone had the opportunity to meet her and know her as I did.”
