dracula canceled nbc NBC cancels 'Dracula': No Season 2 for vampire drama

It turns out “Dracula” isn’t quite immortal after all. The freshman drama has been canceled after one season.
The series, which starred Jonathan Rhys Meyers as the iconic vampire, launched in the fall on Friday nights after “Grimm.” However, it never became a ratings hit before ending its 10-episode season in January.
Next, NBC will trot out “Crossbones” in the Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT time slot. The pirate tale, starring John Malkovich, premieres May 30.
