The choice of who will be on the cover of the “NHL 14” video game is up to fans of the series, but it’s been narrowed down to two goalies. Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils is doing battle against Sergei Bobrovsky of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
As an extra push, Electronic Arts, the company behind the series, has released a video of the two set to some interesting graphics. The video is meant to mimic one of the most popular versions of the game that has ever been released, “NHL 94.”
Even 20 years later, the game still has a massive following. Brodeur joined the league in 1994, but just missed the deadline to be included in the game. That version of the title uses the 1992-1993 NHL rosters.
Fans can cast their vote for who they want on the cover over at the NHL website.
