Before her engagement to Meek Mill, superstar rapper Nicki Minaj was in a 12-year relationship with fellow hip hop artist Safaree Samuels that ended in late 2014.

When they were over, Minaj released a 16-minute video called “The Pinkprint Movie,” which chronicled their relationship and break-up, including implying that Samuels cheated on her. Now Samuels has responded with a song of his own, called “Love The Most.” And Minaj is not happy about it.

The song contains lyrics like “Yeah, we made it on the rise/ Ain’t no green in my eyes/ ‘Cause we both went to sleep in the same bed of lies” and “Behind doors I’m the man/ Calculated with a plan/ What a shame it took a split for them to know I was your man/ Got so tired of hidin’ it/ Head high with no pride in it/ Guess I wasn’t cool enough because b****es be hidin’ it.”

Minaj expressed her feelings about the song in a Twitter rant — some of which has since been deleted — where she says she was always loyal to Samuels and reiterates that he cheated.

“Lesson: don’t cheat on a loyal woman. God will punish u. When he does, tell people the truth. The truth may set u free. Love. Always,” writes Minaj. “Took a person with me to fame & fortune. These dudes leave their girl in the hood. Tell ppl the truth or you will b doomed.

“God gave me a good heart. I always let ppl get over on me way too long. But that’s why I’m blessed. I’ll always b blessed. May God keep u. Enough with the pity party. Just live your life. I’m happy today not b/c of meek. But b/c i know Im a good person. Don’t hate u. Will always love u. I forgive u. It’s time to move on.

“And just for the record, I’m in love with meek. Lol and now I have a huge smile on my face. Making a 12 yr relationship work at such young ages? We’re BOTH the real MVP. things got rocky at the end but we had a GREAT run. #B4Ujudge.”
