You can hear Nicki Minaj on the radio at any given moment, but the musician is expanding her brand into reality TV. Not only will she judge the 12th season of “American Idol” in 2013, but she’ll also be the subject of several reality specials on E!.
According to E! Online, Minaj will star in three specials on the network starting in November. She’ll give “intimate access to her personal and professional life, including never-before-seen footage.”
In other E! news, “The Soup” host Joel McHale will continue to make fun of all things pop culture for at least two more years. According to The Hollywood Reporter, McHale has signed a new contract that will extend his tenure on the show through Season 11 (he’s in Season 9 right now). He’s also developing scripted TV with Sony Pictures Television — and that’s in addition to his day job on NBC’s “Community.”
Are you curious to see what Minaj’s reality specials will entail? And how psyched are you that McHale will be around on “The Soup” for two more years?
