nikita-homecoming-season-finale-maggie-q-the-cw-season-2-percy-deadThere is a major death in the Season 2 finale of “Nikita” You may have expected it, but it the way it happened is still a shock. Nikita (Maggie Q) has been trying to take down Division for years and after deciding she wasn’t running anymore in last week’s “Crossbow,” she did just that. She, Michael (Shane West), Alex (Lyndsy Fonscea) and Sean (Dillon Casey). Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford) too, of course. That boy got yet another smooch in the final moment of the episode.

It appears Nikita and Ryan will be taking over Division. She wanted the group to know they wouldn’t be forgotten. So how did they get there? Battle after satisfying battle. Battles that included Sean asking Alex out on a date. Still no answer, but it would be shocking if she says no.

The biggest moment of the night was Nikita killing Percy (Xander Berkeley). It was an incredibly satisfying moment, watching him fall, break glass and hit the ground. In a way, the season finale would have been satisfying if the show hadn’t been picked up, though obviously it’s wonderful that it did. We couldn’t have asked for a more satisfying, action paced and emotion-filled finale.

So what does Nikita do now? Where does she go from here? Let us know what you thought of the episode and what you want to see in Season 3.
