Paulaabdul_foxtca2009_290 In an exclusive interview, the LA Times talks with Paula Abdul's manager David Sonenberg about her post-"American Idol" plans.

Sonenberg is quick to squash speculation that Abdul is returning to Idol, assuring that there have been no discussions about Idol and that her priorities lie elsewhere. He does tease us that we will soon know just what her plans are now.

There was a recent story (run here, originally from Radaronline) that FOX was polling focus groups to see if any of the guest-judges are more popular than Paula and that they hadn't closed the door on making Paula an offer she couldn't refuse.

The Times says insiders deny the focus group story and Sonenberg says there have been no talks with FOX, saying, "The only [network] we haven’t talked to, because of recent events, is Fox."
