If you haven’t watched the viral promo for the Norwegian show “Gylne Tider” (“Golden Times”), yet, invest six minutes into a trip into randomness.

The video was released to promote the Oct. 31 premiere of the fourth season of the show in which celebrities are interviewed about their past work. The video features a slew of celebrities singing (or sometimes dubbed) The Beatles’ “Let It Be” while dancing in front of a beach backdrop that has been digitally added.

Since the network airs many U.S. shows in syndication such as “Seinfeld” and the like, many of the stars featured are from these past shows. Jason Alexander, Malcolm Jamal Warner and Rick Schroder show up, as does “Married … With Children’s” David Faustino who claims he was tricked into participating.

“It was just one of those things that happened on the red carpet at some event, where a camera crew nabbed random, extremely gullible celebrities — apparently like myself — and asked them for an interview,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter. “They were, like, ‘We’re putting this [music] video together and it’s for charity.’ At least I remember I thought I was doing something good for somebody. Oh well. Live and learn. F*** it. Let it Be.”

Frankly, we’re not going to fault the producers for a little chicanery. Otherwise, we might have missed out on seeing Dolph Lundgren, Lou Ferrigno and Fab Morvan (Milli Vanilli) singing together on that CG beach.
