ABC has one piece of its midseason schedule in place. The Shonda Rhimes-produced medical drama “Off the Map,” about young doctors working at a remote clinic in South America, will premiere at 10 p.m. ET Jan. 12 in the timeslot now occupied by “The Whole Truth.” The show stars Martin Henderson, Caroline Dhavernas, Mamie Gummer, Rachelle Lefevre and Zach Gilford. Speaking of “The Whole Truth,” one of its cast members has already picked up a new job. Christine Adams has joined the cast of FOX’s “Terra Nova” as a resident of the time-traveling colony. [EW]

“The Office” star Rainn Wilson teaming up with Oprah Winfrey? Believe it. Wilson is talking with Winfrey’s OWN channel about doing web content or on-air interstitials based on his website SoulPancake. [E! Online]

For the second straight year, ABC will feature Beyonce in a Thanksgiving night special. The 90-minute special, “Beyonce’s I Am … World Tour,” will include performances and backstage footage from her latest tour. It’s scheduled for Nov. 25. [TV Guide]

“Grey’s Anatomy” and “Criminal Minds” producer Mark Gordon is developing a cop drama at CBS called “One Police Plaza.” The show from “CSI: NY” writers Linda Fairstein and Kenneth Solarz will focus on a female police commissioner. [Variety]

ABC’s summer show “Rookie Blue” has added Camille Sullivan (“Shattered,” Syfy’s “Taken”) as a regular for Season 2, while “NCIS” veteran Lauren Holly will have a guest role. [Hollywood Reporter]
