paula deen oprah winfrey Oprah Winfrey back in the Oprah business with Bobbi Kristina, Paula DeenIt’s no secret that Oprah Winfrey‘s fledgling cable network, OWN, has been struggling to find an audience. Turns out what people love about Oprah is Oprah herself. OWN’s primetime ratings for February were up 12 percent over the same month in 2011, 29 percent for the entire day.

This was largely due to more programming featuring Winfrey airing during the month, including: a sit-down interview with motivational speaker Tony Robbins on “Oprah’s Next Chapter”; an Oscar special of Winfrey interviews with nominees Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Jonah Hill; and special “Remembering Whitney,” a two-hour package of Winfrey’s last interview and personal memories of singer Whitney Houston.

Making the most of this momentum, “Oprah’s Next Chapter” will feature “Queen of Southern Cuisine” Paula Deen on Sunday, Mar. 4. Whether she will talk about the media firestorm surrounding Deen’s recent revelation that she was diagnosed with diabetes remains to be seen, but she will talk about her 10 year affair with a married man.

Then, the following week, Winfrey will have an exclusive interview with Whitney Houston’s 19-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.

If she keeps this up, Winfrey won’t have to grub for viewers on Twitter anymore.
