Season 2 will also run 10 episodes and is expected to return in 2014. Tatiana Maslany stars as a street-smart young woman who discovers there are other woman out there who look exactly like her and finds herself caught up in a mystery involving clones, secret experiments and ruthless killers.

Although the show’s first season has been averaging under 500,000 viewers it has all the markings of a cult following, and BBC America clearly believes in its potential.

BBC America’s first original scripted series, period drama “Copper,” returns for Season 2 on June 23.
