“Outlander” fans can start the countdown clocks now.
Starz announced Thursday (Sept. 25) that their hit show, based on the popular book series by Diana Gabaldon, would be back for the second half of Season 1 starting on April 4, 2015.
That’s a mighty long time, Starz.
Also of note: 3.8 million live viewers tuned in for “The Wedding,” a much anticipated chapter of the story. That episode alone breaks a 2-year viewership record for Starz, after episode 5 of “Spartacus: Vengence” in February 2012. The show has averaged more than 5 million viewers per episode for the first half of Season 1.
The midseason finale, “Both Sides Now”, airs Saturday (Sept. 27) at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Starz.
