Ryan Seacrest's new "American Idol" contract is reportedly worth a cool $45 million over the next three years.

So where's Paula Abdul's new deal?  What's Paula, chopped liver?

Right now, it looks as though the endearingly ditzy judge may not return to “American Idol” for the new season that starts auditions Aug. 6.

"Very sadly, it does not appear that she's going to be back on 'Idol,' " David Sonenberg, Abdul's manager, told the L.A Times’s Idol Tracker.

Sonenberg doesn't have an offer from FremantleMedia and 19 Entertainment, the show’s production companies

"I find it under these circumstances particularly unusual; I think unnecessarily hurtful," he said. "I find it kind of unconscionable and certainly rude and disrespectful that they haven't stepped up and said what they want to do."

Reps for Fremantle, 19 and Fox have no comment.

And this has really gotta hurt poor Paula’s feelings what with Ryan's $45-million sweet deal.

Does this have anything to do with her admission in Ladies Home Journal to a 12-year drug habit and going into rehab to kick the habit? An admission she later retracted?

How much money should Paula get? Should "AI" let her go? Will you watch the show without her?
