pink floyd pig getty Pink Floyd's pig flies againIt appears pigs do fly.

To commemorate the re-release of Pink Floyd’s 14 studio albums and other multi-platform projects, the band floated a 30-foot inflatable pig in front of London’s Battersea power station. Fans of the band will certainly recognize this iconic image from the cover of their 1977 album “Animals.”

Of course the last time the group did this in 1976, the results were less than positive. At that time, the pig escaped the poke and oinked its way into the flight path for London’s Heathrow Airport before ultimately landing in a field.

So far this little piggie hasn’t gone “Wee wee wee” all the way home.
