The Bill O’Reilly interview of President Obama prior to the kickoff of Super Bowl XLVIII was a lot of what we’ve heard before — healthcare, Benghazi, the IRS head visiting the White House dozens of times. There was a lot of interrupting going on.
What it ultimately boiled down to was Obama saying, “We’ve gotta make sure that we’re doing everything we can to expand the
middle class and that people who are working hard can get in the middle
class,” to which O’Reilly responds, “I know you think we maybe haven’t been fair [at Fox News], but I think your heart is in the rigiht place.”
Then O’Reilly wants to know who Obama picks for the Super Bowl and he says, “I can’t make a prediction, I don’t know. These guys are too evenly matched. I think it’s gonna be 24-21, but I don’t know who’s gonna be 24 and who’s gonna be 21.”
The 2014 Super Bowl kicks off live at 6:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
