presidents day fictional presidents Presidents Day: Fictional counterparts to real life PresidentsPresidents Day is celebrated the third Monday in February to honor the long line of United States Presidents. It used to be celebrated on the birthday of our first President, George Washington, which is Feb. 22, but in 1971 it moved to the third Monday of the month.

In honor of Presidents Day, seeing as how this is an entertainment site, we’d like to pay tribute to some fictional U.S. Presidents — and see which real-life President they most resemble. Is “Deep Impact’s” President Beck the fictional precursor to President Obama? Is “The West Wing’s” President Bartlet the modern-day version of President Franklin D. Roosevelt? And is “24’s” President Logan the eviled-up-for-TV President Nixon?

Take a look at the gallery and let us know what you think in the comments. And remember to give a thought to the real U.S. Presidents today – like or dislike the man in office, it is a hard job and we thank them for their service.
