The “Pretty Little Liars” Halloween special was a lot of fun. The cast and crew shared personal stories and on-set anecdotes. But they also shared some juicy teases about the series going forward.

Above is the creepy preview for the Christmas episode that ABC Family debuted at the end of the Halloween special — “Silent Night,” deadly night, indeed.

Also teased is the “A” reveal date. Creator Marlene King says, “I think fans got a little worried when they found out we were going seven seasons, because they thought maybe they’re going to have to wait that long to find out who ‘A’ is, but I am promising you that you don’t. The identity of big ‘A’ is going to be revealed before Season 7 starts.”

Oliver Goldstick adds, “There is an endgame, there is an ‘A,’ there is a future for these girls beyond Rosewood. There is life after high school. There’s still more to be explored.”

Does this mean the purported time jump to after college will be where Season 7 picks up? What does life after college (and life after “A”?!) mean for these girls?

The “Pretty Little Liars” holiday episode airs Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
