pretty little liars season 4 troian bellisario 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 4 premiere reveals the trunk contents 'right away when we come back,' says Troian Bellisario“Pretty Little Liars” brought Season 3 to a dramatic end Tuesday night (March 19), when it was revealed that Officer Wilden’s car had been dredged from the lake — and that Jenna and Shana helped him up after Ashley ran him down.

But what was in the trunk? Viewers won’t have to wait (too long) to find out, says Troian Bellisario.

“I can tease that at the very end of the finale, there is a huge, huge cliffhanger and a very, very big secret, which is revealed right away when we come back in Season 4,” Bellisario tells Zap2it. “So you’ll have to wait a couple months, but it will definitely be revealed in the first few seconds back.”

Executive Producer Oliver Goldstick also more or less confirms that it is a body in the trunk.

Janel Parrish teases that Mona might be part of the PLLs now.

“Season 4 — it’s gonna be crazy. Mona, who’s been a villain for the past three season, is now suddenly a victim again. She’s gotta work with the four PLLs to find out what’s happening. Can they trust her? Can she trust them? It’s going to be an interesting dynamic,” says Parrish.

At least we know we’ll get an answer right away when the show returns June 11 to ABC Family. And no time jump between seasons this time.
