In 2002, a 5-year-old Prince Michael Jackson was visiting Berlin with his family when his father, pop star Michael Jackson, famously dangled Prince Michael’s baby brother, Blanket, for a hotel balcony over the heads of the crowds below.
Now 14, Prince Michael will return to Berlin in November for the sale of the handwritten composition of his father’s hit, “Bad.” Proceeds will go to the Tribute to Bambi foundation, which works to help needy children in Germany.
“Prince Michael Jackson will walk the red carpet and present the manuscript on stage surrounded by children,” a spokesperson tells People. But what’s most noteworthy is that this is the first time Prince Michael will be unaccompanied by another member of the Jackson clan.
“He won’t be traveling alone, but he won’t have any family members with him.”
