ABC had a new episode of “Private Practice” scheduled for 10 p.m. ET Tuesday, which will now move back a week. The network will run a special edition of “20/20” anchored by Chris Cuomo in its place.

NBC has a two-hour episode of “The Voice” set for 8 p.m., and was going to follow it up with “Go On” and “The New Normal” (“Parenthood” was always to have the night off). Instead, a news special called “Sandy’s Fury,” anchored by Brian Williams, will run at 10 o’clock.

“Go On” and “The New Normal” will move back to their regular time periods in two weeks, as next week the network will have election coverage for all of primetime.

CBS and The CW, meanwhile, are going back to new episodes of their shows Tuesday.
