After weeks of making grown adults feel slightly inadequate due to the cooking prowess of eight children as young as 10 years old, the second season of “Rachael vs. Guy: Kids Cook-Off” has finally come to an end.
It was a finale full of bahn mi tacos (with bone marrow aioli), lobster mac and chili cheese burritos, and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls on a stick, but the main course was obviously the crowning of the young cooking champion.
So who is the winner of “Rachael vs. Guy: Kids Cook-Off,” as well as the star of their own show on FoodNetwork.com? Well, based on the votes by judges Curtis Stone, Brian Malarkey, and Haylie Duff … 12-year-old Gibson, on Team Guy.
Gibson was the genius behind the aforementioned Philly cheesesteak egg rolls on a stick, hoping to infuse the best the East coast has to offer into one fine dish. Now he’ll be able to do more of the same on a regular basis on his FoodNetwork.com series.
Did the right kid win, “Cook-Off” fans?
