Due to Teresa and Joe’s legal and financial troubles, they now have to seriously consider downsizing their living situation. It would be a far cry away from the Teresa who said this:
“I didn’t want to go house shopping, because I just skeeve looking at other people’s houses. I don’t want to live in somebody else’s house; that’s gross.”
But now, she claims she’s not “all about materialistic things,” like she was years ago, and her priorities have shifted. Getting caught for financial fraud sometimes does that to a person. Even a “business savvy” woman like Teresa.
Don’t let Teresa fool you, though — she and her family wouldn’t be going from riches to rags. While the current Giudice mansion is 12,000 square feet and would sell for $4 million, this new house that they’re eyeing is a cozy 8800 square feet and $1.4 million. It’s not really something to scoff at.
But then again, neither is evolution.
