How long before Bethenny mocks her for not “really” being a countess?

Former model LuAnn de Lesseps, who came by the Countess title she likes to throw around so freely via marriage, is parting ways with her husband, the count.

The “Real Housewives of New York City” star has been married Alexandre de Lesseps for 16 years. While she and their children, Victoria and Noel, make New York their homebase, he lives in Europe and visits when convenient.

According to the New York Post, LuAnn heard that Alexandre was seeing someone on the side. He then sent her an email informing her that he was in Geneva with an Ethiopian woman that he’s quite serious about.

Since the gossip columns have recently been full of Luann sightings around New York with men who were definitely not the count, it appears that she’s moving on quickly.

Her book, “Class With the Countess” hits shelves next month.
