“Revolution” is the latest drama adventure offering from J.J. Abrams (“Lost,” “Alias”). It takes viewers to a post-apocalyptic world 15 years in the future, after an event happened which caused all things electronic to cease working.

The world without technology collapses the public order and militias and warlords are the rulers of the day. Enter Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) and her family members, who are just trying to live a peaceful existence in a farming community. But one family member knows more than he’s letting on about the event that triggered the blackout.

Giancarlo Esposito (“Breaking Bad,” “Once Upon a Time”) stars as Captain Tom Neville, one of the aforementioned warlords who is after the aforementioned information about the blackout.
