Rick Springfield, ’80s rocker and one-time “General Hospital” star, has been charged with two counts of DUI, according to TMZ.com. Springfield was arrested back in May in Malibu, Calif., when cops measured his blood alcohol level at .10, over California’s legal limit.
He won’t be charged for alleged threats made to the police officer who pulled him over. He was reportedly agitated at the time of the arrest and and told the arresting deputy, “If you tow my car I will f—ing kill you and your family.”
If convicted on both charges, Springfield could face six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
