Fenty calls the post-attack photo "terrible."
"Yeah, I saw it," Fenty told Usmagazine.com. "It’s disturbing." And he hopes that people will now be able to "grasp the situation a lot better."
"It’s good and it’s bad to see the picture, because there’s other people who were thinking differently, that [Rihanna’s injuries] may not be that bad, just a little spank or a little thing."
But he’s not thrilled about the police photo being leaked. "Sloppy work," he tells People.

Los Angeles police have launched an internal investigation to determine who leaked the photo and, according to L.A. Now’s Andrew Blankstein, actor Mel Gibson may even help!
Reports are that Rihanna’s close friends took out a 21st birthday greeting for the singer in the local Barbados newspaper.
"Amidst all the negativity about Ri Ri, God will continue to bless her," it reads.
