The Academy of Country Music confirms to People that the on-screen lovers will be presenting at the Las Vegas ceremony. They are joining hosts Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton as well as Nancy O’Dell and Ryan Seacrest, who have also been tapped to present.
While the list of confirmed presenters is short at the moment, the show already has an impressive lineup of performers. Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band with James Taylor, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift and many more are all set to perform.
Witherspoon is no stranger to the country scene, as she won an Oscar for her 2005 portrayal of June Carter in “Walk the Line.” As for Pattinson — the Brit might just stick out like a sore thumb among Nashville’s best and brightest, but we hardly think anyone will mind.
Tune in on country’s biggest night, airing on CBS April 3rd at 8 PM EST. “Water for Elephants” hits theaters shortly after, on April 22.
