Robert Pattinson told reporters that he's probably going to start shooting "Breaking Dawn" in fall 2010.

But he's also got some other films in the works, which is happy-making news for RoPatz fans.

One of the projects is "Bel-Ami," a film based on French writer Guy de Maupassant's novel, which he starts filming in Februrary. The film will be a chronicle of a young man's rise to power in Paris through manipulation of the city's most influential and wealthy women.

We can see that.

Then comes a western, "Unbound Captives," also starring Hugh Jackman (Rob and Hugh in one movie? Hunk overload!) and Rachel Weisz

He plays a kid named Phineas who was kidnapped by Comanches when he's only 4. "It can't be any more different from Edward," he told reporters Friday afternoon at the "New Moon" junket at the Four Seasons hotel in Los Angeles.

He actually signed on for this film right after he'd done "Twilight" because he thought it was a "cool script." While some compare it to "The Searchers," he says it reminded him of "Giant," one of his favorite movies.

Is James Dean one of his favorite actors? "One of, yeah," he responded.

We can totally see that.

We weren't able to get any video of Robert talking about the upcoming films, but keep reading to listen to his (sigh) voice.
