Excitement is building in the United Kingdom and around the world as everyone waits for Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge to give birth to the future king or queen of England.
Sources tell the Telegraph that a small group of St. Mary’s hospital employees “were told the due date was July 19, meaning they couldn’t drink from June 19 onwards,” because they were asked to remain on call and sober should Kate go into labor. All the public has ever known was that Kate’s due date was in mid-July, but if the due date was actually Friday, then she could be going into labor any time now.
Fuel was added to the July-19-due-date fire yesterday when Paula Ebben of CBS Boston tweeted, “NEW: Sky News: Kate Middleton has left her parents home for London in a helicopter. Sky reporting it appears #RoyalBaby on the way!”, but The Today Show said that report was incorrect, tweeting, “Kate & William have left Bucklebury by car… Where do you think they are heading to?”
So, is the royal baby on its way this weekend? Stay tuned to the live stream to find out.
