Actor Paul Rudd grew up in Kansas City, so naturally he was pretty stoked that hometown baseball team the Royals earned their first trip to the World Series since 1985 Wednesday (Oct. 15). He celebrated by inviting KMBC viewers to party at his mom’s house.

“I’m gonna be partying at my mom’s house! Party at my mom’s house, man. She’s out of town, I’ve got a keg. It’s gonna be sweet! Five dollar cover!” shouts Rudd — though he is kidding, please do not try to find his mom’s actual house.

Rudd also says he’s lost his voice from cheering so hard, but he knew that “when we went on that win streak this summer” Kansas City might actually be able to make a run at the World Series.
