Ethnicity-based reality shows are hot right now. Thanks “Jersey Shore.” Now Ryan Seacrest is throwing his hat in the ring.
Seacrest is teaming up with Bravo (The network that brings us the “Real Housewives” cornucopia) to produce a new reality show following some of Los Angeles’ Persian-American young adults who drive flashy cars and wear designer clothes, yet still know and follow family tradition.
“The series will offer rich characters and relatable storylines about everyday life — love, work, friendship and family — steeped in a diverse culture, which is wildly entertaining and fun.” he says in a statement.
The series is currently in the development stages, so we will just have to wait and see if falls in the shadow of “Jersey Shore” or if it will have a light all its own.
