“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” hit a brand new, earth-shattering high on Tuesday (April 1). Guest Samuel L. Jackson took the stage, but it wasn’t to answer questions or play a game.
Jackson was there to pay tribute to “Boy Meets World,” the ’90s sitcom that captured everyone’s heart. How does one properly show their love for one of the true highlights of TGIF, though? Slam poetry, of course.
Jackson strolled onto the stage with a cigarette and rattled off references to the show, going through the history of main character Corey Matthews. There’s even a Feeny call in the middle of the whole thing, which is pretty wonderful.
Hopefully, this is the beginning of a series of TGIF tributes.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
