sarah palin the undefeated Sarah Palin documentary, 'The Undefeated': Still in 'rough editing phase,' full of pointing fingersNo time to catch up with Sarah Palin on her mystery destination bus tour this summer? You’re in luck. A new documentary about the former Alaska governor and possible 2012 presidential hopeful starts its run in limited release in July.

But this won’t be one of those “lamestream” documentaries, bogged down with investigative reporting. “The Undefeated” comes courtesy of the Palin camp itself.

CNN reports the $1 million documentary, originally envisioned by Palin aids as a series of shorts to boost her image, is the work of conservative filmmaker Steve Bannon. And if you doubt that there isn’t a clear agenda at play here, all you need to do is look at the these clips, courtesy of CNN and FOX News respectively.

The first, a short trailer, includes grainy footage of Palin making decisions in board rooms, oddly placed finger-shaking and pointing and umpteen uses of the term “C.E.O.”

The second, first airing on “Hannity” in late May, continues the trend of hand fetishizing, with vintage stock photography of pointing fingers and even a thumbs up.

As host Sean Hannity notes, the film is still in its “rough editing phase.” Presumably, when it airs, there will be even more dramatic hand motions. We can only hope…
