Fans definitely remember John Corbett from HBO’s “Sex and the City,” in which he played Aidan Shaw, the furniture designer that loved, lost, loved and lost Manhattan columnist and fashionista Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker).
“I get Aidan all the time,” Corbett tells Zap2it, “and I haven’t been on that show in 10 years. It has nothing to do with the movie. They just found out I was going to be in the movie recently. It was a big secret.”

Released on Thursday, May 27, it features a chance encounter between Carrie and Aidan in Abu Dhabi. “What’s a good tease?” says Corbett. “Let me think. Oh, OK, just say that I’ve gone back to get what’s mine.” He bursts out laughing, then says, “I don’t know what that means, but it sure sounds good.
